How To Grow Lemongrass

Lemongrass or also known as serai in Malay...commonly used in Asian dish..

one of my favourite ingredients in cooking...

This is my first lemongrass in a container...the growth rate is not something that I'm proud of...lol....too slow,i think...

Grown from lemongrass cuttings that I've bought from local supermarket...soak it in water until  roots developed and transfer it into pots....

So,here it is.. My first lemongrass...;-)

Red Okra

First time growing this variety of okra.

Photo taken this morning using my handphone...that explains the not so clear image....
look at those tiny flower buds.:-)

This is from the packet i got from my late father's collection of seeds.

It almost expired when i started to germinate them.

From 8 seedlings, only 2 managed to survive.

An okra plan with some sentimental value this is.....:)
