Experimenting With Fig Tree In Containers...

My current experiment...Figs! I'm still trying to FIGure it out.... :P These cuttings & seedling were given by my ex-colleague to try. My current obsession is googling and reading articles about growing fig tree. Fig is said to be one of the easiest to grow. Wow! Maybe not that easy for an amateur gardener like me...but why not??? I'm accepting the challenge! Caiyok!! Caiyokkkk...:)

Sprouting from seeds..not sure if this is going to work...

Rooting  in water...

Rooting in a sealed zipper bag....

Kenapa kena letak dalam sealed zipper bag tu, tak boleh letak dalam pasu saja macam biasa ke??

  7. Thanks for checking out my new blog, Lynna! Good luck rooting that fig cutting! I tried a couple years ago with little look. The only way I've been able to propagate figs is to dig up suckers that grew from the base of my existing ones.

I grow three fig varieties in pots and they are well worth it!
